I shot Kathryn & Elton's engagements the other day for FunkyTown photography and I have to say I love love love this couple. You know when a couple seems so head over heals for each other that it's almost like you aren't even there, it was kind of like that. Like it was just the two of them out for a nice stroll through downtown Victoria. You could just give them some small direction and stand back with your camera and they would just go with it. It made my job really easy and so much fun.
They were here from Kelowna finalizing plans for their wedding here this summer. We started at the breakwater and then made our way downtown. With them only being in town for a short while we could only shoot on that one day and unfortunately it did rain. But I have to hand it to them though, the rain didn't bother them at all. By the end of the shoot we were fairly wet but I think the photos turned out great and you can't even really tell the weather wasn't cooperating. I'm actually shooting their wedding this summer and I can't wait! Elton is an RCMP officer so he'll be wearing his reds, which I'm REALLY excited about. I think it's going to be so cute.
